Welcome to the Oregon home energy rebate programs

Rebates for energy efficiency upgrades and appliances

New rebates are coming to help Oregonians lower energy costs, improve comfort, and upgrade energy efficiency within their homes.

From heating and cooling to insulation and appliances, home upgrades can be expensive, but rebates can help.

The Oregon Department of Energy is launching two new programs that help cover a significant portion of the efficiency upgrade costs, so you can make improvements that can make your home more comfortable year-round and lower energy bills.

Whether you own a home or a multifamily property, your project may be eligible, especially if your household or tenants’ income qualifies for higher rebate amounts.

Meet the programs

The Home Efficiency Rebates Program (also known as HOMES) and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program (also known as HEAR) will provide rebates for high-efficiency home improvements and appliance installation to eligible single-family and multifamily households, particularly low- and moderate-income households.
